Heavy Rain Alert Issued in AP from 15 October

There are indications of formation of low pressure area over south-east Bay of Bengal on 13th of this month, which might become a depression subsequently, according to a forecast released by Meteorological Department.

The developing system is likely to cause rain in Andhra Pradesh from 15th with moderate to heavy rainfall in various districts of the state. Areas may experience particularly heavy rainfall along with gusty winds.

According to meteorological experts, the developing system is likely to affect different areas of the state and has called upon officials to keep vigil in view of the developing system. It has been suggested to the officials to monitor and take necessary precautions in this regard.

Citizens have also been called upon to be careful as heavy rain and winds might affect various parts of the state. People are requested to watch out for weather alerts from meteorological department in order to stay safe during this period.
