The clarification comes amid reports that all may not be well within the team following the film’s blockbuster success.
Is all well within the Hanuman Ansh team?
Anupriya Nagar, the film’s 21-year-old producer, has been prominently involved in its publicity. She had earlier revealed that she was the last producer to come on board, joining the project when it was already in post-production.
As the film became a box-office phenomenon, Anupriya increasingly emerged as one of its most visible faces during promotions and media interactions. She had also previously said in an interview that Hanuman Ansh was planned as a trilogy and that the team would regroup for its second instalment.
However, SCREEN, citing sources, has reported that the situation surrounding the franchise may now be more complicated. According to the report, the producers could explore Neem Karoli Baba’s story separately, though no official announcement confirming such plans has been made.
Anupriya had also spoken about writing a book chronicling her experience of making Hanuman Ansh and launching her own production house to back stories close to her heart.
For now, the team has not officially announced Hanuman Ansh 2, leaving questions over the future of the proposed franchise.
