Flash Protest at Gurudwara Bangla Sahib Attempted by CJP in Connaught Place

While the Delhi police had detained Abhijeet Dipke, Ashutosh Rana and Saurav Das and taken them to different places, the CJP protestors, following a call given by the party to join the protest with or without leaders, reached Gurudwara Bangla Sahib near Connaught Place. Police rushed to the area to clear them from the premises of the Gurudwara. The protestors have been detained and shifted to detention camps.

This is an indication that the Delhi is likely to witness more drama and flash protests till evening. Meanwhile, Dipke has been taken to Gurugram, while Ranka has been shifted to Dwaraka and Saurav to Delhi.

Interestingly, amidst this scenario, politics have emerged as Tamil Nadu Chief Minister DMK chief in Chennai said that this reminds one of the Emergency situation and asked the government to immediately release all those who have been detained. Stalin said dissension is not a crime.

In another development, Arvind Kejriwal on X said that what is happening in Delhi is worse than the Emergency and this shows that Modi won elections by vote chori. Gopal Rai of AAP said detention of students is unfortunate. What were they demanding? Just the resignation of Gyaneshwar Kumar.
