Dulquer Salmaan’s Aakasamlo Oka Tara set for November 20 release

Hyderabad: The makers of director Pavan Sadineni’s upcoming film Aakasamlo Oka Tara, featuring Dulquer Salmaan and Satvika Veeravalli in the lead roles, released an inspiring teaser on Saturday, much to the delight of fans and film buffs.

Swapna Cinemas, the production house backing the film, shared the teaser on its social media platforms. “The sweetest dreams are chased with love. Haven’t experienced this magic yet? Watch the #AOTTeaser now,” it wrote.

The film is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on November 20 this year.

The teaser introduces Kalpana as a brilliant student who secures the district’s first rank. However, despite her academic excellence, she faces discouragement from everyone, including her parents, who eventually get her married. Krishna, who enters her life, becomes her biggest source of strength and encouragement.

When others tell Kalpana that she cannot even cross the boundaries of her village, she boldly declares that she will cross the boundaries of the earth and reach for the sky. Krishna shares her vision and encourages her to dream big, work hard and strive to achieve her goals.

Earlier this year, the makers marked Dulquer Salmaan’s birthday by releasing a new poster of the actor and announcing that he plays Krishna in the film.

The makers had introduced Satvika Veeravalli as the film’s female lead a few months ago.

The film is produced by Sandeep Gunnam and Ramya Gunnam under the Light Box Media banner and presented by Geetha Arts and Swapna Cinemas.

Geetha Arts had shared the actress’s introduction video on Instagram with the caption: “She carries a dream bigger than the sky…. Introducing Satvika Veeravalli – The dreamer who gives wings to #AakasamLoOkaTara #AOTMovie.”

The introduction video begins with a child pointing to the sky and asking, “How do I go to space?” It then offers a glimpse of Satvika Veeravalli as a young woman from a rural area who is discouraged from pursuing her dream of travelling to space.

A man is heard saying, “Coming from a village that has no roads, you harbour plans of going to space? First, you show us if you can cross the borders of the village. Then, we’ll see.”

The film appears to centre on Satvika’s character, who dreams of becoming an astronaut and travelling to space despite the obstacles she faces in her remote village.

The film has a strong technical team, with two-time National Award winner G V Prakash Kumar composing the music. Sujith Sarang is the cinematographer, while National Award-winning editor K L Praveen is handling the editing.
