Delhi shocker: 40 year old killed in car, teen stabbed over relationship

New Delhi: A 40 year old man was allegedly stabbed to death while driving his car in Delhi’s Krishna Nagar area on Thursday night. Police said robbery does not appear to be the reason behind the attack based on the initial investigation. The victim has been identified as Vijay Kumar who lived in West Vinod Nagar. He was taken to Dr Hedgewar Hospital after the incident where doctors declared him brought dead.

Police said they received a PCR call at around 9 pm on Thursday reporting that a man had been stabbed on the main road in Krishna Nagar. A police team reached the spot soon after and found the victim’s car standing abandoned on the roadside.

As one murder probe continues another life is Lost

A senior police officer said a murder case has been registered and the victim’s body has been sent for post mortem. Forensic experts and crime investigation teams examined the spot while police started checking CCTV footage and speaking to witnesses to identify the attacker. Officials said the investigation is continuing and so far there is no sign that robbery was the reason behind the killing.

In another shocking case from Delhi a 17 year old boy was allegedly stabbed to death over a relationship. Police said the attack happened in the Molarband area after the brother of the girl the teenager was reportedly in a relationship with objected to their relationship and confronted him.

Relationship dispute ends in fatal stabbing

Police have arrested three people in connection with the case and further investigation is underway. According to officials information about the stabbing was received at around 8 pm on July 13. The incident happened outside a medical store in Gali Number 4 on the 40 Foot Road in Molarband under the Badarpur police station area.

Police said the initial investigation found that the teenager who lived in Molarband Extension had been called to the spot by the girl’s brother. The boy arrived with three friends and an argument soon broke out between the two groups. According to police the girl’s brother and his associates were against the relationship. During the fight the teenager was allegedly stabbed in the chest and abdomen with a sharp weapon.
