Commonwealth Games 2026 highlights, Day 10: India win seven gold, three silver medals in boxing
India at Commonwealth Games (CWG) 2026 highlights, Day 10: India enters Day 10 of the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow with 23 medals in the bag (five gold, 12 silver, and six bronze). The momentum comes on the back of a stellar Day 9 outing, headlined by Neeraj Chopra’s silver and Yashvir Singh’s bronze in a dramatic men’s javelin final, alongside Tejaswin Shankar’s historic bronze in the decathlon and two judo golds from Asmita Dey and Harsh Singh.

Building on that success, the Indian contingent now aims to wrap up the penultimate day on a massive high with major gold-medal opportunities across disciplines.
The biggest focus will be on boxing, where India has created history as 10 boxers make it to the gold-medal bouts. After a flawless semi-final round, every Indian boxer who stepped into the ring secured a place in the final, guaranteeing the country at least 10 silver medals. Preeti Pawar, Jaismine Lamboria, Sakshi Chaudhary, Priya Ghanghas, Arundhati Choudhary, Lovlina Borgohain, Jadumani Singh, Sachin Siwach, Ankush Panghal and Narender Berwal will now fight for gold.
Apart from boxing, India will also have medal hopes in athletics with Praveen Chithravel and Selva Prabhu Thirumaran competing in the triple jump final while Dev Meena and Kuldeep Kumar will feature in the men’s pole vault. Gulveer Singh will aim for another podium finish in the 5000m final after his 10,000m silver as India looks to add more medals before the Games conclude tomorrow in Glasgow.
