CM Revanth Reddy Positively Responds To Nani’s Request

How can one forget the deadly crowd management failure during Allu Arjun and Sukumar’s Pushpa 2 premier? The tragic stampede at Sandhya Theatre resulted in the death of 35-year-old woman named M. Revathi and left her son Sritej severely injured. The massive and the uncontrollable crowd at the theatre surged into the theatres to catch the glimpse of Allu Arjun. And since then, the government has decided to deny the permissions for the premier shows to avoid such incidents.

Well, Tollywood’s ace actor Nani is all set to hit the theatres with The Paradise movie on 24th September, 2026. So, being a passionate movie lover from his childhood, his special connection towards RTC X Roads theatres somehow made him express his wish to Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy through Twitter. He requested CM to allow him watch The Paradise premiere in one of the RTC X Roads theaters on 23rd September night stating that their team will completely follow all necessary safety protocols and guidelines.

His post reads, “Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri @revanth_anumula Garu, Hon’ble Minister of Cinematography Shri @KomatireddyKVR Garu & the respected officials of @TelanganaCOPs. This is a request from a fan of cinema and, more importantly, someone who has enjoyed cinema at its very best from a very young age. For me, cinema has always been about watching it together with people who love it just as much as I do. And in Hyderabad, that experience has a special place at RTC X Roads. I would love to visit a theatre at RTC X Roads for #TheParadise premiere show (23rd Sept) and experience the film with our audience, the very people we made it for. I believe the ultimate satisfaction of making a film lies in sitting among the audience and experiencing their response to it. We will, follow all the necessary protocols and safety guidelines in place. That will be our priority. I hope you will kindly consider my request. Thank you.

Respectfully,

Nani.”

Well, even CM Revanth Reddy responded to Nani’s request and appreciated him for respecting safety guidelines. He also said the team to submit an official application to the nearest Police Station of that area and thus the concerned Police team can examine the application and take a decision accordingly.

His post reads, “We appreciate your respect for safety guidelines, @NameisNani, and your commitment for the film directed by our talented young Telangana director, @odela_srikanth. To ensure seamless crowd management and public safety, please submit an official application to the designated local police station. The concerned team will review the application and take a decision accordingly. @TelanganaDGP”.

Paradise is being helmed by Srikanth Odela and produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under the SLV Cinemas banner. It is scheduled to release on 24th September, 2026!
