‘Billa Ranga Baasha’ comes with unique promotional strategy

Billa Ranga Baasha: First Blood, the star-studded period-action spectacle helmed by Kichcha Sudeep takes a unique call for the promotional campaign, the makers of which have planned to update fans almost a year ahead of the theatrical release.

Directed by Anup Bhandari and produced by K. Niranjan Reddy and Chaitanya Reddy of PrimeShow Entertainment, the Pan-India film will formally kickstart its promotions on September 2, 2026, which also marks Sudeep’s birthday. A special poster will be revealed on the day, the latest update poster of which has already piqued the curiosity with its icy landscape and intimidating frozen formations.

Unlike the conventional short promotional window, Billa Ranga Baasha has chalked out a phased campaign. The teaser is expected to be out in the first quarter of 2027, while the promotions are set to begin in the third quarter of 2027, where the trailer and songs are likely to be released. The movie is slated to release in the last quarter of 2027. This will mark the second project of Sudeep and Anup Bhandari, who previously starred together in Vikrant Rona. The director is at it again with the creation of an expansive cinematic universe, in which Sudeep is expected to play a larger-than-life role as the period-action adventure.
