Balakrishna’s NBK 111: ‘Dada’ Title Creates Buzz

Nandamuri Balakrishna, who is fondly called as Balayya in Tollywood is currently recovering from the knee injury. As he had a bad fall on the sets of NBK 111, the doctors performed knee surgery and advised him to take at least 8 weeks rest. Although, this made Balayya to take rest at home, director Gopichand is completing the rest of the scenes that connect the dots. So, immediately after Balayya joins the sets in September, his portion will be shot exclusively and will be added to the final cut.

Well, the makers are considering both December and Pongal release windows. If everything goes according to the plan, this movie might hit the theatres on 5th December. And the titles that are being considered for the movie are ‘Dada’ or ‘God’.

Recently Megastar’s 158th movie is titled ‘Kaka’ and now Balayya’s movie might be titled as ‘Dada’. Now, this appears to be turning into a trend. Even Allu Arjun and Atlee movie is titled ‘Raaka’. These rhyming titles are creating a buzz on social media.

Along with Balayya, this movie holds an ensemble cast of Kajal Aggarwal, Bobby Deol, R. Sarathkumar and Sanjay Dutt. Reportedly Balakrishna sustained a muscle/ligament tear in his knee during an action sequence at the Kakinada deep-sea port in July 2026.

Initially, the makers tried to release the movie during Dussehra festival which falls in October considering the long-holiday window. But Balayya’s injury shifted their plans to December.

Balakrishna will also be seen in Koratala Siva’s next after wrapping up this action thriller.
