Balakrishna to miss Sankranthi season!

After suffering with an injury, Nandamuri Balakrishna is all set to return to the sets of NBK 111 in September. The latest reports suggest that the Akhanda actor will look to get back to the shoot as soon as possible so that there are no delays in the schedules. Reportedly, the action etertainer, directed by Gopichand Malineni, is aiming to release in December 24, 2026. If the dates are finalized, the film will not clash with the Sankranthi 2027 festival as it will hit the screens in the Christmas week. For Balakrishna, December has been a lucky month as both Akhanda and Akhanda 2 were huge hits at the box office after releasing in the month. Though the Christmas week has been the most competitive period this year, with Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday, Dune Part Three and Shah Rukh Khan’s King also set to release, the film’s release in the week will see a major clash.

Starring Kajal Aggarwal, the film will be produced by Venkata Sathish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas, with S Thaman scoring the music. As the teaser has already created a massive talk, fans can’t wait for Balakrishna to jump back into the action-pacy world of NBK 111.
