Balakrishna injured at ‘NBK 111’ sets
Nandamuri Balakrishna is currently shooting for NBK 111, the much-anticipated mass entertainer of Gopichand Malineni. It is understood that the star suffered an injury in his leg while shooting an action-riddled sequence in the port area of Kakinada. This led the team to cancel the shooting.

As per the reports, the actor was immediately taken to the hospital for an X-ray and a scan, which showed that he had a ligament injury. The doctors also recommended a minor surgery. The actor is expected to return after a month of recovery post-surgery. Although the makers have not issued an official statement about the injury.
NBK 111 is the much-awaited venture of the superstar pair of Balakrishna and Gopichand Malineni, who last delivered the Sankranthi blockbuster Veera Simha Reddy to the audiences. The fans have been thrilled to witness Balakrishna playing a father-son role alongside his son in the film, as the project has gathered tremendous expectation as the next big mass entertainer.
The film produced by Vriddhi Cinemas’ producer Venkata Satish Kilaru will also mark the fourth on-screen collaboration of Balakrishna and Nayanthara, who plays the leading lady opposite the star. Besides, the actor has also signed a huge budget film directed by Koratala Siva. However, Balakrishna is expected to take some time off before recovering from the injury and then resume the shooting of both his films.
