‘Awwal Dawath’ from ‘Ameer Log’ highlights Hyderabad’s spirit
The makers of “Ameer Log”, the youthful entertainment potboiler, announced that it will hit the theatres on August 21. The film’s first song “Awwal Dawath” was unveiled at the media conference which also spoke about how the film captures the spirit of Hyderabad.

The film, produced by Madhavi Reddy Soma under Awwal Number Prods and directed by Ramana Reddy Soma, will be presented by Rana Daggubatis’s Spirit Media. Manohar Reddy Manchuri is the co-producer. Starring MC Hari, Manoj and Sasidhar, the film also features Vedha Jalandhar, Raavan Nitturu, Vishwender Reddy and Saiyogi.
Speaking on the occasion, director Ramana Reddy Soma said that the film was inspired by his personal experiences in Hyderabad and that it showcases the basti culture of Hyderabad. “Ameer Log tries to say that true wealth is happiness and relationships and not money. We are hopeful that the film will deliver its message,” he said.
Producer Madhavi Reddy Soma said that she grew up in the same locality that will be seen in the film. “We thank the people for coming together to make this film and wish that they will come together to witness this film as well,” she added. Music director Smaran Sai said that he had a great time composing music for “Ameer Log”. The film is a treat for the audience with its unique theme and story, he added.
Vedha Jalandhar said that the film captured the bonding in Hyderabadi bastis in a beautiful way. “Awwal Dawath has been composed beautifully by Smaran Sai and rendered soulfully by Rahul. The audience will surely enjoy the song,” he added. On the other hand, MC Hari said that the film showcases the unique culture of Hyderabad.
