Awez Darbar steps in as the Gauahar Khan-Nikhil Chinapa Alliance menopause row escalates

Actor Gauahar Khan‘s brother-in-law has slammed Nikhil Chinapa over his remark on menopause. Nikhil stirred controversy after his eviction from the reality show Alliance. Talking about Gauahar Khan’s criticism of his gameplay, Nikhil said he had never met Gauahar personally but had heard from Zaid Darbar, who is in the show. He then said, “Maybe Mini will know more about this because she deals a lot with menopause and perimenopause. So maybe, she may have some insights on why Gauahar said whatever she said.”

Nikhil was slammed for remarks by various celebrities and social media users. Recently, Gauahar’s brother-in-law, Awez Darbar, took to his Instagram Stories to address the controversy. In the video Awez Darbar said that he was uselessly feeling bad after losing one reality show. Here is Nikhil Chinapa who has been doing shows for 19 years and saying this.” Then the video clip of Nikhil’s interview is attached.

Awez Darbar said that Nikhil doesn’t know how to reply to questions. He said his reply to the question was illogical as he was asked about the exit of the show and he replied about menopause. He said that he doesn’t know about menopause but people like Nikhil deserve to have menopause.

Talking about Gauahar he said, ” Gauahar ne apni reply se already sabko pause kar diya hai, to I think itna hi bolna chahunga. Beesvein (20th) saal ke liye all the best. Acha karna .” Earlier, Gauahar Khan had slammed Nikhil for his comments. She said that she is happy that Zaid went inside and told Nikhil that she was fond of him. and thinks he has a great personality and an amazing body of work. She said she respect him but doesn’t like his coments. She said, ” what do you mean by saying Mini can comment because she deals with menopause and perimenopause? You’re assuming that I’m at an age where I must be going through menopause or perimenopause, and that’s why I have those viewpoints. That is ridiculous.”

Calling Nikhil “ignorant”, Gauahar said it was wrong to dismiss a woman’s opinion by attributing it to her menstrual cycle, menopause or perimenopause.
