Actress Kirti Kulhari loses Rs 2.44 lakh in credit card cyber fraud, police register case
Mumbai: Khichdi movie actress Kirti Kulhari has become the latest victim of cyber fraud. Reports suggest that the actress’s credit card was used by cyber criminals illegally. The actress’s credit card details were used to conduct unauthorised transactions abroad worth Rs 2.44 lakh. The police have lodged a case against unknown persons.

According to reports, the incident happened on the night of July 24 when actress Kirti Kulhari went out to watch a movie at a multiplex in Andheri West. She got an alert from the bank about a foreign currency transaction on her account while she was heading towards the cinema.
Reports suggest that the alert mentioned that a transfer of US$2,525 was done to Aeromexico Airlines through her credit card. The actress quickly informed her bank’s customer care regarding the same after getting the message. After checking her account the bank reportedly found that four separate transactions had been processed using Kirti’s credit card.
The total amount withdrawn from Kirti Kulhari’s credit card is more than Rs 2.43 lakh. The bank immediately blocked her credit card inorder to stop any further misuse. The investigations have shown that Kirti had not revealed her card PIN or any other banking details to anyone. It is reported that actress’s card card details might have been stolen through a technical means or the information might have leaked mobile phone, online account or any other digital network.
Kirti Kulhari has appeared in various films and television shows including Uri: The Surgical Strike, Mission Mangal (2019), Four More Shots Please!, Criminal Justice and Human.
