India at Commonwealth Games (CWG) 2026 highlights, Day 11: Saturday turned out to be a memorable day for India at the Commonwealth Games 2026 in Glasgow as the contingent delivered a series of outstanding performances across different sports.

The day was highlighted by multiple medals in different events, helping India move up to fourth place in the medal standings with 13 gold, 17 silver and nine bronze medals. Boxing led India’s charge with a record seven gold and three silver medals, marking the country’s best-ever performance in the sport at the Commonwealth Games.
Judo also produced a historic campaign as Harsh Singh and Asmita Dey became India’s first Commonwealth judo champions. Yamini Mourya and Unnati Sharma added a silver and bronze to take India’s medal tally in the sport to four.
Para athletes continued their impressive run with Soman Rana winning gold and Shubham Juyal claiming silver in the men’s F57 shot put. Gulveer Singh added another highlight by becoming the first Indian to win a Commonwealth Games 5000m medal and two athletics medals in a single edition.
As Glasgow enters the final day, India will look to add more medals in judo and track cycling before the Games officially conclude with the closing ceremony. The focus will now be on ending a successful campaign on a high note.
