Pink actress Kirti Kulhari falls victim to cyber fraud, loses Rs 2.43 lakh in credit card scam
New Delhi: Actress Kirti Kulhari has become the latest victim of cyber fraud in Mumbai. According to a police complaint filed by the actress, unidentified scammers gained access to her mobile phone and credit card and duped her of Rs 2,43,853.

According to A report by IANS, a case has been registered at the Amboli police station based on Kirti Kulhari’s complaint.

According to the FIR registered, Kirti was at the Cinepolis theatre near Fun Republic Mall in Andheri West when she received an alert about a transaction worth USD 2,525 on Aeromaxico Airlines bank credit card.
On noticing the suspicious transaction, she immediately contacted her bank. The bank officials confirmed that four major unauthorised transactions had been made using her credit card, following which the card was blocked as a precautionary measure.
The actress clarified with the police that her credit card password was never shared with anyone and was strictly confidential. Authorities suspect that her phone or credit card might have been compromised through malware or spyware.
The police are now investigating the case and are tracking the culprits using bank reference numbers and digital footprints.

Meanwhile, on the work front, she has announced completion of shooting of her debut feature film, which she is producing. She is known for her performances in Four More Shots Please!, Pink, Mission Mangal, Uri: The Surgical Strike, Badass Ravikumar, Criminal Justice, and Human, among others. She began her career with commercials and made her Bollywood debut with Khichdi: The Movie (2010).
