Ganguly, Yuvraj lead Delhi Capitals’ coaching reshuffle
Earlier, DC appointed former India captain Ganguly as head coach on October 6. The announcement marks his first stint as head coach in the IPL after leading Pretoria Capitals in the SA20. After this, the franchise signed Yuvraj as assistant coach and batting coach on October 13.
The former all-rounder played key roles in India’s 2007 T20 World Cup and 2011 ODI World Cup triumphs, reuniting with Ganguly as DC seek to win their maiden IPL title. The change in coaching setup came after DC parted ways with their previous staff following two seasons under head coach Hemang Badani. With Vaas’s international bowling experience, Ganguly’s leadership and Yuvraj’s batting expertise, Delhi Capitals will look to make the most of their revamped coaching setup and mount a stronger challenge for the IPL title.
