Allu Arjun’s AA23: Lokesh Kanagaraj teases interesting updates

Mumbai: Ace filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj has raised excitement about his upcoming project with Allu Arjun through his latest social media post. The Master director revealed that they would soon share some exciting updates about the project, tentatively titled AA23.

On Monday, Kanagaraj took to his official Instagram handle and uploaded a picture of himself engaged in an intense conversation with the Pushpa actor.

Piquing the interest of movie buffs, the director captioned the post, “Interesting updates coming soon” (sic). He also tagged Allu Arjun in the post.

The post gains significance as there had recently been speculation that AA23 might have been shelved. However, Kanagaraj’s latest social media update appears to have put those rumours to rest.

In January this year, the first collaboration between Allu Arjun and Kanagaraj was officially announced on social media. The announcement video featured a lion firmly standing its ground while a group of foxes circled around it in an attempt to assert control.

The clip did not reveal any major details about the plot of the much-discussed film. However, it managed to create considerable buzz about what Allu Arjun and Kanagaraj would bring to the screen.

Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, AA23 will feature music composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Mythri Movie Makers has also backed Allu Arjun’s blockbuster Pushpa.

Meanwhile, Allu Arjun is currently occupied with Atlee’s Raaka.

Featuring Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone as the leading lady, the project will mark the Tollywood actor’s first association with the Pathaan actress. Deepika has previously worked with Atlee in Jawan, which featured Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role.

The official announcement of Raaka was made on Allu Arjun’s 44th birthday, April 8 this year, along with the release of the film’s first-look poster.
