Congress Joined Hands with Anti-India Forces-BJP

The BJP tore into the remarks made by Rahul Gandhi at his press conference on Monday and said that the Congress party, which is extremely frustrated at being out of power at the Centre and in states for a long time, is trying to create anarchy in the country.

Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said the Congress party had become a puppet in the hands of the anti-national forces who want to create anarchy in the country. He said the Congress attacks the judiciary when it loses a case, attacks the EC when it loses elections, and attacks the armed forces when there is a terror attack. He said having failed to come to power through ballot, they want to take the path of anarchy but people understand the “nefarious” intentions of the Congress and soon whatever is left of Congress would be wiped out.

He said Congress behaviour was like the Hindi saying, “Nachna Na Aaye, Angan Teda,” (If you don’t know how to dance, you blame the courtyard). The party has become a junior party in almost all the states except the three states where it is at present in ruling.

Meanwhile, the Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Monday announced peaceful rallies at district headquarters across the state from October 13 to 31, accusing Congress leader Rahul Gandhi of undermining constitutional institutions through his criticism of the Election Commission of India (ECI).

In a post on X, CM Sarma said the BJP’s Assam unit would organise the rallies to counter what he described as the Congress’ attempts to pressure constitutional institutions and undermine the democratic mandate.

He accused the Congress of adopting double standards on electoral outcomes, alleging that the party accepted democratic processes when it won elections but questioned their credibility after defeats. “When Assam votes, the result is unacceptable; when Kerala votes, it is welcomed. Democracy, for the Congress, is valid only when it delivers victory for the Congress,” the CM further said.
