Karnataka Congress Chief Alleges CJI Is Behaving Like a BJP Member

Is the Chief Justice of India behaving like a BJP member? This is what the Karnataka Congress President, B. K. Hariprasad, who is in Delhi to participate in the protest march feels. Speaking to some media persons, he said that Chief Justice of India (CJI) Surya Kant should not behave like a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), but should ensure that justice prevails in the country.

It may be recalled that the CJI had turned down the request of INDIA bloc leaders to meet him and advised them to file a plea in the court. He had also told the SC Bar Association members not to turn the apex court into a political battleground

He said, “Today, our leader Rahul Gandhi is marching to the Supreme Court to demand the scrapping of the SIR process and the resignation of Gyanesh Kumar. Gyanesh Kumar is supposed to be an impartial Election Commissioner, but all these days, he has been acting like an agent of the Bharatiya Janata Party. So, we are demanding his resignation,” the Karnataka Congress chief added.

Congress MP Praveen Chakravarty, speaking about the Cockroach Janata Party’s (CJP) agitation against the ECI, said that everybody who believes in the Constitution is welcome to join the movement.

Gaddam Vamsi Krishna alleged that the government was working against Gen Z and the youth of this country, as they know that they cannot win the votes of the youth.

The Congress had mobilised party workers from various states, including Telangana, Karnataka and Maharashtra.
