AP Government Gives A Nod To Hike Jailer 2 Ticket Prices

It is well known that South Indian superstar Rajinikanth is all set to hit the big screens with Jailer 2 on 15th October, 2026 on the occasion of the Dussehra festival. As the release date is just around the corner, the makers are busy with promotions and post-production works. Coming to the ticket hike issue, AP government has given its nod to increase the ticket prices in the state.

Going with this GO, single screens can charge an additional Rs 50 per ticket and coming to the multiplexes, ticket prices can be increased by Rs 75. On the other hand, Jailer 2 movie is being distributed by Naga Vamsi’s Sithara Entertainments in both Telugu states.

Going with the trailer, Rajini makes his return as Tiger Muthuvel Pandian and starts his hunt. Although he is introduced as a driver, he continues his hunt for criminals. But this time, he needs to face Vidya Balan who steals the show with her modish appeal. The glimpses of Mithun Chakraborthy, Mohanlal and Shivaraj Kumar also made the trailer worth watching. Adding more excitement, S.J. Suryah makes his entry towards the end and starts his deadly game. So, the audience are eagerly awaiting to witness the face-off between Rajini and Suryah.

Well, this movie also has an ensemble cast of Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Mirnaa, Rithvik, Jatin Sarna and Sujith Shankar. Jailer 2 is being helmed by Nelson Dilipkumar and is bankrolled under the Sun Pictures banner while Anirudh Ravichander will compose the film’s music.
