Delhiites, Be Ready for Day 3 Chaos as Congress Takes to the Roads

Delhi seems set for another round of political drama this afternoon. president Mallikarjun Kharge has again invited INDIA bloc MPs for lunch today. LoP Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Vadra too would be there.

This is another indication that they would try to create some high drama on the streets of Delhi, demanding that the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) meet them. They will also demand that he should resign.

On the other hand, Delhi police is on high alert and does not want the LoP and Congress activists to stage any unauthorised protest anywhere.

Meanwhile, the BJP national president Nitin Nabin, talking to the media in Varanasi, slammed Rahul Gandhi over protests against the CEC. He said if the Opposition has any courage, it should resign from the seats it won through elections conducted by the Election Commission of India. The Congress, which has won in Himachal, Karnataka, Telangana and Kerala, should resign if they think that there was vote chori. Even Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka should resign if they think their elections were also held in illegal manner. They cannot have double standards, he felt.

“It also conducted the elections in Tamil Nadu, where they came to power. If he has the courage, Rahul Gandhi should first resign. The public is fully watching the game he is playing. This Leader of Opposition is engaged in shielding infiltrators,” he said.

Nitin Nabin said, “I would say these are people with an anarchist mindset, who know only how to spread poison in society. After all, this very Election Commission conducted the elections in Kerala.” Reacting to the remark of Rahul Gandhi that he has 45 FIRs against him and was aiming for 100 and that nothing can deter him from protesting, Nabin said, “100 failures and 100 FIRs”.

Nabin also praised the Uttar Pradesh government for the arrangements at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple.

“I belong to Bihar, and coming here to Varanasi is part of our traditions. I would say that the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor has been constructed in a great way. The devotees also like it. It is a great experience. For this, I would like to congratulate PM Modi and CM Yogi,” he said.
