Triumph introduces three new Bonneville motorcycles in India
Pune: Triumph Motorcycles has introduced three new motorcycles in India, the Bonneville T40, T40 Black and T4, expanding its Bonneville range with 350cc models featuring a mix of retro styling and modern rider technology.

The three motorcycles are powered by a new iteration of Triumph’s 350cc TR Series engine. The engine has been tuned to deliver a relaxed, torque-focused power delivery and is paired with a distinctive exhaust note.
The motorcycles retain several traditional Bonneville design elements, including a sculpted teardrop-shaped fuel tank, round headlamp, spoked wheels and twin-shock rear suspension. The models also feature heritage-inspired two-tone paint schemes, hand-painted coach lining, brushed peashooter-style silencers and aluminium engine covers.
The Bonneville T40 and T40 Black get a 4-inch circular TFT display with smartphone connectivity, including navigation, phone and music controls. They also feature five riding modes, cruise control, lean-sensitive cornering ABS and cornering traction control.
The Bonneville T4 comes with a colour LCD display offering turn-by-turn navigation, ride modes and dual-channel ABS.
Triumph said the three motorcycles have been designed with relaxed ergonomics and a low seat height. The seat height can be reduced to 770 mm with an optional low-seat accessory. Lightweight aluminium rims and a modern chassis are aimed at improving manoeuvrability and everyday usability.
Steve Sargent, Chief Product Officer, Triumph Motorcycles, said the company worked with Bajaj to retain the design elements associated with the Bonneville while adding modern technology.
“Our ambition was not simply to create a smaller Bonneville, but to create a motorcycle that delivers the style, character and ownership experience riders expect from a genuine Bonneville,” he said.
The company said the new motorcycles are intended to make the Bonneville experience accessible to a wider range of riders as demand for lower-capacity motorcycles grows globally.
