Akashvani Se Jan Ki Baat: Rahul, Priyanka Sit on Protest

Tension prevails at Sansad Marg as high drama unfolds. The Delhi police have put up barricades and stopped the MPs and party activists of members of INDIA bloc, including LoP and MP Priyanka Gandhi, on Sansad Marg.

The MPs wanted to march to the ECI demanding the resignation of the CEC, Gyanesh Kumar. The MPs said they wanted to take out a peaceful march but were being prevented by the police.

They lashed out at the CEC and displayed slogans like “Gyanu Go Back, Gyanesh, it’s done bro, ” etc.

Rahul is seen standing on the first barricade while waving the national flag along with Abhishek Banerjee. RAF officers were seen recording the incident. The MPS are seen shouting slogans like “vote bachao Desh bachao.”

Meanwhile, all top leaders sat on dharna on the road demanding the resignation of Gyanesh Kumar.

The Delhi Police detained the MPs and shifted them to waiting buses. Priyanka Gandhi was also detained. Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi jumped out of the bus as it started moving and headed towards Akashvani Bhavan.

Rahul Gandhi jumped over the wall at Gate No. 4 of Akashvani Bhavan and entered the premises. Other Congress MPs, including Pawan Khera, and Congress activists also tried to enter the Bhavan. The police are making all-out efforts to stop them and bring Rahul Gandhi and others out.

Rahul Gandhi’s social media team also recorded a video of his dramatic actions and said it would be uploaded on social media soon.

Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra have now begun a dharna under a banyan tree at Gate No. 4 of Akashvani Bhavan. Employees of Akashvani Bhavan, standing on the top floor, took photographs and recorded videos.

The drama has now shifted from the road to Akashvani Bhavan. The Election Commission of India (ECI) office is next to Akashvani Bhavan, connected by a service road.
