‘Master Teacher’ award for SOA Advisor

Bhubaneswar: Prof Lalit Kumar Meher, an eminent physician from Odisha and Advisor to Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan Deemed to be University, has been awarded the prestigious ‘Master Teacher’ title by the Association of Physicians of India (API). This honour recognises his outstanding contributions to medical education, clinical teaching, and mentorship.

Prof Meher, the former Director of the Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (VIMSAR) in Burla, currently serves as an Advisor to Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan, which operates the Institute of Medical Sciences and SUM Hospital.

Prof Manojranjan Nayak, Founder President of Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan, congratulated and felicitated Prof Meher on Thursday for winning the prestigious award.
