Saanvie Tallwar shares alleged on-set incident with Karan Kundra
Mumbai: Popular television actress Saanvie Tallwar is grabbing headlines after she made shocking revelations about harassment during the shoot of TV series ‘Yeh Kahan Aa Gaye Hum’. She has accused popular actor Karan Kundrra of harassment and claimed that Karan Kundra has kissed her. She claimed that while filming a scene, Karan kissed her before the director’s cue, prompting her to slap him.
Saanvie Tallwar during an interaction with ‘ The GlamWorld Talks’, Karan Kundra was dating Anusha Dandekar at the time the incident happened and she even informed Anusha about the alleged harassment. She even claimed that when she tried to highlight the incident, the director began questioning her acting abilities after she stood up for herself.
In a separate conversation with Filmibeat, she said, “There was a scene, but the director hadn’t clapped action; even before that, he kissed me and I slapped him. He didn’t react at that time, but then he came back after some time and slapped me hard. There is a difference between the intensity of a girl’s and a man’s slap. I fell on the floor and then he abused me and my family.”
She added that the director made her feel that she did not know the acting. She further said, “Nobody supported me. Later, Ektaa ma’am (Kapoor) apologised on Karan’s behalf and supported me. She managed to make things easy.” She also mentioned it was Karan Kundra who was interested in her and she did not like him.
The actress said that women can easily understand the intentions of male and she knew that Karan is interested in her. She had already spoken to multiple publications about the incident but Karan Kundrra has not yet responded to these claims.
Netizens are raising questions as to why such actors are not being supported and even some users mentioned in the comments box about the male dominance in the Television industry. Some users are of the opinion that Saanvie Tallwar is trying to get limelight by using Karan Kundra’s name.
