Sri Rama Engg college hosts SIH 2026 internal hackathon

Tirupati: Sri Rama Engineering College, Tirupati, successfully hosted the Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2026 internal hackathon to foster student innovation and problem-solving.

College Chairman Mannem Ramireddy urged participants to build technological solutions for real-world social issues, while Director Mannem Aravind Kumar Reddy pledged sponsorship and institutional support for promising projects.

Coordinated by Vice-Principal Dr N Vasu and Convener GV Karthik, the event featured industry experts Venkata Avinash Jakkampudi, Aryan Shiva Krishna Karthik, and Gijupalli Jagadeesh as judges.

The panel evaluated entries on innovation, technical feasibility, social impact, and scalability. Key leadership, faculty, and students actively participated in the successful initiative.
