Mancherial: Four women killed in horrific road accident
Mancherial: A tragic road accident occurred near Naspur Gate in the district on Monday, which claimed lives of four people.

According to police, some women from Gudipalli, Venkatapur, and Ponnaram villages in Mandamarri mandal used to work at a shopping mall in Mancherial. On Monday, seven of them set out for Mancherial in an auto-rickshaw to report on duty. Near Naspur Gate, while attempting to avoid a two-wheeler that was crossing the road, the auto-rickshaw collided with a lorry traveling from Mancherial towards Jaipur. Chintakuntla Lakshmi (30) and Soundarya (25) sustained fatal injuries and died on the spot. Locals immediately rushed the other injured women—Tatipalli Sonia (25), Sumalatha (21), Divya Vani, Naramalla Lakshmi, and Anusha—to the Mancherial Government Hospital in an ambulance.
Tatipalli Sonia (25) and Sumalatha (21) succumbed while undergoing treatment, while Anusha was shifted to Warangal for advanced medical care due to her critical condition. Vani and Naramalla Lakshmi are currently receiving treatment in the ICU at the Mancherial Government Hospital. Upon receiving information about the accident, Naspur Sub-Inspector Taisinuddin arrived at the scene with his team and examined the details of the incident. Meanwhile, the auto-rickshaw driver fled the spot immediately after the accident occurred.
