KTR praises ‘The Paradise’ for showcasing Telangana culture and struggle

BRS working president K. T. Rama Rao (KTR) has complimented The Paradise for showcasing Telangana culture and struggle after watching a special screening of the Nani-starrer at Sudarshan Theatre in Hyderabad with senior party leaders, former ministers and other public representatives.

Directed by Srikanth Odela, The Paradise has drawn praises from KTR for depicting the land, dialect, culture and struggle of the oppressed communities of Telangana. Speaking to the media post screening, he congratulated filmmaker, Nani and the entire team for the work done.

KTR has called it a visual representation of a community’s struggle for identity and justice. He appreciated the depiction of people fighting off the oppression and fighting for existence and rights.

He particularly compliments the inclusion of the Telangana language and cultural backdrop that has given the movie its unique identity. His comments came after the film’s theatrical release on September 24.

The Paradise features Nani alongside Kayadu Lohar, Mohan Babu, Sonali Kulkarni and Raghav Juyal, among others.

KTR’s visit to the theatre and his comments have created more hype around the film especially its depiction of Telangana’s social and cultural setting.
