Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Vishwambhara Gets A New Release Date

Tollywood’s iconic actor is all set to hit the big screens with Kaka on 13th January, 2027. As the release date is just a couple of months away, the makers are busy in wrapping up the shoot. As of now, everything is on the right track. But the speculation surrounding the release date of Vishwambhara has also created some buzz on social media.

Amid all this chaos, the makers of Kaka officially reaffirmed the release date once again dropping a BTS poster. So, this ensures that Kaka is definitely in the Pongal race. But what about Vishwambhara? Some reports claimed that the OTT deal is forcing the makers of this movie to release the movie during Pongal holiday season itself.

But as of now, a fresh set of speculations on this movie state that the makers have zeroed in 20th November as the release date and are all set to hit the big screens on the occasion of the Diwali festival.

A release around the weekend plus the weekday holidays could be the strategy, potentially giving both films a smooth theatrical run without a major clash. So, if Vishwambhara hits the big screens in November, this definitely solves the big issue and also treat the mega fans.

While Vishwambhara is a complete sci-fi drama. Going with the story, Vishwambhara is an imaginative realm. Even in his earlier interview director Vishwambhara is being helmed by Vassista and produced by Pramod Uppalapati under the UV Creations banner. This movie has an ensemble cast of Ashika Ranganath, Mouni Roy and Trisha Krishnan.

This movie is expected to be a socio-fantasy thriller, which explores uncharted mystical territories beyond Svarga Lokam and Yama Lokam. According to reports, Trisha’s character enters Earth from the mystical world of Vishwambhara… But the evil forces who try to capture her fail in their mission. This movie draws inspiration from Telugu fantasy movies like Pathala Bhairavi and Keelu Gurram, all the mega fans are eagerly awaiting to witness Chiru in such a mystical role. Even director Vassista revealed the storyline in one of his interviews doling out that “According to our mythology, there are a total of 14 worlds (Lokas), seven higher realms and seven lower realms. Until now, everyone has portrayed these 14 worlds in their own way. We have already seen Yamaloka, Swarga (heaven), Patala Loka, and many others on screen. In Vishwambhara, I have gone beyond all of them. I have depicted Satyaloka, the abode of Lord Brahma. It is the very foundation of all the 14 worlds. The story revolves around how the hero reaches Satyaloka directly and how he brings the heroine back from there.”

Along with that this movie might also feature the recreated version of Chiru’s popular song, “Ragulutondi Mogalipoda…”. All these speculations and leaks further made this movie the most-awaited ones of his career.
