BTS’ ‘Come Over’ breaks records with Billboard Hot 100 debut
Seoul: Global K-pop sensation BTS has once again etched its name into music history after its surprise single “Come Over” made a remarkable debut on the Billboard Hot 100, setting multiple records in the process.

According to the latest Billboard charts, “Come Over” entered the prestigious Hot 100 at No. 69, marking BTS’ 39th career entry on the chart as a group. The achievement is particularly noteworthy as the song was released without a major promotional campaign and was initially introduced as a bonus track connected to the group’s latest album, “ARIRANG.”
The track dominated Billboard’s Digital Song Sales and World Digital Song Sales charts, securing the top position on both rankings. With this accomplishment, BTS extended its own record for the most No. 1 songs across these charts, reaching a total of 44 chart-topping hits.
“Come Over” also demonstrated strong international appeal, debuting at No. 5 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart and No. 14 on the Billboard Global 200. The latest achievement increased BTS’ tally to 21 songs in the Global Excl. U.S. Top 10, the highest ever recorded by any group since the chart’s launch.
Adding to the celebrations, BTS’ critically acclaimed album “ARIRANG” climbed back into the Billboard 200 Top 10, securing the No. 10 position. Meanwhile, the album’s lead single “SWIM” continued its impressive run on the Hot 100, remaining on the chart for a 13th consecutive week.
The latest milestone further reinforces BTS’ status as one of the most successful acts in global music history. The group has consistently shattered records on Billboard, including becoming the first group to achieve multiple simultaneous No. 1 debuts on the Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard 200.
With “Come Over” achieving success despite its surprise release, BTS continues to demonstrate its immense global influence and the unwavering support of its dedicated fanbase, ARMY. The achievement marks yet another chapter in the group’s record-breaking journey and cements its position among the biggest music acts of the modern era.
