Sri Vishnu assures a fun-filled ride with ‘Comrade Kalyan’

The much-anticipated teaser of Comrade Kalyan has been released, showcasing the entertaining drama-comedy that is set to leave the audience captivated. Starring Sri Vishnu, the film is directed by debutant Janakiram Marella and is presented by Kona Venkat, with Venkata Krishna Karnati and Seetha Karnati producing under Skanda Vahana Motion Pictures LLP. The movie is all set to hit the screens on October 9.

Set in Andhra Pradesh and Odisha border in 1992, the film narrates the hilarious escapades of a theatre owner named Kalyan who adores filmmaker R. Narayana Murthy.

He takes an irrational turn when he falls in love with an Odia girl and gets entangled in the Naxalite movement. At the teaser launch, Sri Vishnu called ‘Comrade Kalyan’ a film full of “variety and fun”, adding that viewers will enjoy watching the comedy in a theatre.

He further thanked Janakiram for showcasing the story in a different light and appreciated the efforts of the entire team.

The teaser spotlights Sri Vishnu’s comic performances alongside the legends Satya and Sudarshan. Mahima Nambiar, Radhika Sarathkumar, Shine Tom Chacko, and Upendra Limaye are also part of this entertaining royal drama-comedy.

With Sai Sriram’s beautiful visuals of the hinterland and Vijay Bulganin’s music adding to the hilarious and heart-throbbing sequences, the one-minute teaser has created immense curiosity.
