Survival thriller ‘Chiranjeevi’ set for Aug 28 release

Survival drama thriller Chiranjeevi, which stars Kiku Yanamala and Kashish Khan in lead roles, is all set for its theatrical release on August 28 this year. Prior to its release, the makers organized a pre-release press conference in Hyderabad where the film’s team highlighted the uniqueness of the concept and story of the movie.

Directed by Shubha Sai Venkat and presented by Kiku Entertainments, the film pairs up Kiku Yanamala with actor Kashish Khan.

The cast also includes Eswari Rao, Tanikella Bharani, Srikanth Bharat, Viva Raghava and others in pivotal roles.

Shubha Sai Venkat stated that there is one risky element that got left out in the trailer. The director added that they are also excited about the audience’s reaction to this unique element.

While talking about the challenges while promoting the movie, star Kiku Yanamala urged the audience to support original Telugu cinema.

He added that they covered various places in Andhra Pradesh while promoting Chiranjeevi and received overwhelming response from the people.

Deepti Nadiminti, producer of the film, said that they are confident about the film’s content and its boldness, adding that the film also marks a special place for women in Telugu cinema.

Chota K. Prasad and Srikanth Iyengar, who have worked in the film also appealed to the audience to support smaller Telugu films at the box office. Survival thriller Chiranjeevi will provide moviegoers with an entirely different kind of theatrical experience and is set to release on August 28.
