OpenAI adds a sticker-creation tool to ChatGPT, allowing you to design custom stickers based on your ideas.

Stickers are fun. Sometimes stickers express what words cannot. Whether stickers are a joke, with friends, a custom sticker of yourself or a sticker of your pet making a funny face stickers add a personal touch to daily conversations. Now ChatGPT can help you make stickers more personal. OpenAI has introduced a sticker‑creation feature in ChatGPT that allows users to turn their ideas into custom packs using text prompts.

This feature uses ChatGPT Images 2.0 OpenAI’s image creation tool. The company says it is made to help users easily create stickers that they can really use in chats, with friends and family.

Users say what they want. ChatGPT Images makes a set of stickers based on that. The tool lets you make up to nine stickers in one group. You can pick from 18 styles. These styles include things, like anime, 3D and holographic. This gives users ways to change how their stickers look.

After you make the stickers, you can download the stickers. Send the stickers right away through iMessage or WhatsApp. I think it is also fun that you can mix the stickers with emojis. This gives you a way to change the stickers and make the stickers feel more like your own.

How to create custom stickers in ChatGPT

To create a sticker pack:

Open ChatGPT on your phone: The new sticker feature is free and available to ChatGPT mobile app users worldwide.

Enter a prompt: Describe your idea, character, reaction, or inside joke. For example, you could ask ChatGPT to create “an adorable sticker pack of my kitten.”

Customize and share: ChatGPT Images will generate the sticker pack. Then you can choose a style, combine the stickers with emojis, and download or share them on WhatsApp or iMessage.

Availability of the ChatGPT sticker feature

The new feature is available globally on the mobile version of ChatGPT and is free for users. It is powered by ChatGPT Images 2.0, OpenAI’s latest image generation model.

In addition to enabling sticker creation, this new image model offers improvements in instruction following as well as in image detail and complexity, including the ability to generate images containing dense, accurate text. It also supports more advanced creation and editing capabilities, allowing users to refine images and modify specific parts of the image.
