When Will Yash’s Toxic Bookings Open In Telangana?
A similar issue was witnessed during the releases of Prabhas’ The Raja Saab and Balakrishna’s Akhanda 2. Now, again Yash’s Toxic is also facing the same issue. Although the makers submitted their request a week in advance, the response from the Telangana government has been delayed. As Yash’s Toxic is all set to hit the theatres tomorrow, still the bookings are not opened on Book My Show platform.

Already this movie is witnessing a heavy demand in North States. Coming to Mumbai, around 136K to 137K tickets are sold in Book My Show platform in last 24 hours. So far, the entire advances fall around 200K to 210K mark in the national chains.
But Yash’s Toxic also has same expectations in Telugu too. As the governments of several North governments gave a nod for the increase in ticket prices, the makers are also expecting the same in Telangana.
The government also took this tough decision to scrutinize applications seeking ticket price hikes as they are heavily disturbed with Sandya theater mishap during the Pushpa 2 release. Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 premier show witnessed heavy crowd in the Sandhya theater. Unfortunately, 35-year-old Revathi lost her life in the stampede, while her 8-year-old son Sri Tej was seriously injured and is still not fully recovered.
So, we can’t blame the government for the delays. But the last-minute rush is also a not good sign for the movie makers. Toxic movie is being produced under the KVN Productions banner and has an ensemble cast of Yash, Kiara Ali Advani Rukmini Vasanth, Nayanthara and Huma Qureshi. This movie is reportedly made with 500-1000 crore budget. So, as this movie is made with heavy budget, the makers are hoping to recover it within a week if the government nods for the ticket hike.
