‘Romanchakam’ set for Sept 3 release; team confident about the film

Romanchakam is ready to hit the theatres globally on September 3, with the producer Pranay Reddy Vanga claiming it to be a complete entertainer. The film, presented by blockbuster Sandeep Reddy Vanga and produced under Bhadrakali Pictures, stars Sumanth Prabhas and Ananthika Sanilkumar in the lead roles and marks the directorial debut of Venugopal Reddy.

The cast and crew spoke to the media in Hyderabad recently, where they shared interesting insights into the making of the film. Distributor and producer Suniel Narang, who has signed up the film for Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Karnataka, is optimistic about the film’s success and said he would share more at the success meet.

The director revealed that he narrated the entire story to Sandeep & Pranay Reddy Vanga in almost two hours. He added that they were thrilled with the narration and immediately agreed to fund the film. Further, he complimented Sumanth Prabhas and Ananthika Sanilkumar and said that Pawan Puppala and Vasuki Vaibhav’s work was extraordinary.

Meanwhile, Pranay Reddy Vanga said that they were delighted with the director’s ad-lib comedies and that he did all the characters while narrating the treatment. He further said that the cast rehearsed for three long months and that they will deliver something different with their performances. He described Romanchakam as an entertaining buddy comedy and said the film is not a small-budget film.

Ananthika Sanilkumar said she connected with the film after reading many interesting stories after ‘8 Vasantalu,’ while Sumanth Prabhas said he rehearsed for six long months and appreciated the crew for bringing out the script’s brilliance.

Love, laughter, mystery, and music are the essential ingredients that make this film a headliner, and makers are confident that it will resonate well with all age groups. The film is set to release globally on September 3.
