Vishwanath And Sons Crosses 100 Crore Mark

Both Suriya and Ravi Teja had been going through a series of box-office disappointments. Although they tried different stories, nothing worked out. However, August has turned out to be a memorable month for both actors. Coming to Ravi Teja’s Irumudi, this movie was released yesterday and already owned a clean blockbuster talk at the box office. And now, Suriya’s Vishwanath And Sons movie was released last Friday, and is still continuing its theatrical run. Of late, the movie crossed 100 crore mark and added another blockbuster movie to Suriya’s kitty.

Coming to today’s collections, this movie minted more than 4 crores and this reached 100 crore mark finally.

Vishwanath And Sons movie was directed by Venky Atluri who delivered his career best with Lucky Bhaskar. As the plot highlights the cute love tale between Suriya and Mamita Baiju, the audience were impressed the way this story was built. Even Suriya’s introduction as a single parent also made us witness how this generation are not interested to marry.

On the other hand, Suriya’s settled performance and his emotional bond with his son touched the hearts. As of now, Vishwanath And Sons is facing heavy competition from Ravi Teja’s Irumudi but holds its tempo. With Yash’s Toxic scheduled for release next week, Vishwanath & Sons is expected to face increased competition at the box office. However, the film has already emerged as a commercial success by entering the Rs. 100 crore club. So, Irumudi should also capture this week and mint as much as possible at the ticket windows!
