Samsung may make 2.8 million Galaxy Z Fold 8 phones in 2026

Samsung has an event coming up in London on July 22. They will show us the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and the Galaxy Z Flip 8. Before this event we heard that Samsung is making Galaxy Z Fold 8 phones than they thought they would. They want to make 2.8 million Galaxy Z Fold 8 phones. This is more than they want to make of the models.

Samsung wants to make Galaxy Z Fold 8 phones. A report says Samsung will make 2.8 million Galaxy Z Fold 8 phones this year. They might make 2 million Galaxy Z Fold 8 phones and 1.5 million Galaxy Z Flip 8 phones.

This is different from what Samsung planned. They thought they would make the number of Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra phones. Now they want to make more Galaxy Z Fold 8 phones.

When closed, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 will actually have a squarish, passport-like shape — a real departure from the Fold 8 Ultra, which keeps that familiar book-style fold we’re used to seeing. Once you flip it open, you’re looking at a 5.5-inch outer display and a 7.6-inch screen on the inside, and both are expected to be sharp, smooth panels running at up to 120Hz.

When it comes to price, Galaxy Z Fold 8 will be cheaper than the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra. It will have two cameras on the back. The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra will have three cameras on the back.

Samsung will have an event in London on July 22, at 14:00. The event will show us the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, the Galaxy Z Fold 8, the Galaxy Z Flip 8 and some new watches.
