Karnataka CM Shivakumar Allocated Portfolios To His Cabinet Ministers

The Chief Minister of Karnataka, Shivakumar allocated the portfolios to its Cabinet members on Wednesday. The CM retained the Finance portfolio while Zameer Ahmed Khan got the Housing portfolio.

Finance, Cabinet Affairs, Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms, Intelligence, Information, Law and Justice, Human Rights, Parliamentary Affairs and Legislation, Agriculture Marketing, Commissionerate of Town & Country Planning, all Urban Local Bodies under the BDA and BMRDA areas were also kept with Shivakumar.

Lakshman Savadi was allotted Cooperation (except Agriculture Marketing) and Ramalinga Reddy was given Forest, Ecology and Environment.

K.H. Muniyappa got Social Welfare and Rudrappa Manappa Lamani got Sugar and Textiles.

U.T. Khader was given the Minority Welfare, Haj & Wakf, Health, and Family Welfare ministries while Backward Classes Welfare, Kannada, and Culture was alloted to Shivraj Tangadagi.

Dr. Ajay Singh has been given with Minor Irrigation and ST Welfare has been awarded to T. Raghumurthy.

Cheluvarayaswamy and Madhu Bangarappa were given control of Major and Medium Irrigation and Primary and Secondary Education respectively. Shivalinge Gowda took over the control of Excise from the Finance Department.
