Lock Upp 2 contestant Pamela Serena reacts to Bigg Boss 20 speculation: ‘A Lot of Offers Are Coming’

Mumbai: The Netflix reality show Lock Upp Season 2 went on to become one of the successful shows of this year, with Shreya Kalra emerging as the winner. Various contestants of the show have impressed the viewers and created buzz. The few contestants have now sparked speculations that they may participate in Bigg Boss 20. One of the contestants, Pamela Serena cleared the air that various contestants may participate in Bigg Boss season 20. She said that the contestants may have to wait before taking part in another reality show.

Pamela Serena during an interview reacted to speculation that Lock Upp contestants would have to wait for a certain period before participating in Bigg Boss. She said, “For a few months, we can’t do any more reality TV shows. But we have got offers. A lot of offers are coming.”

She claimed that the contestants have been receiving offers for other reality shows but they may currently be unable to take them up. When asked directly if she had received an offer for Bigg Boss 20, Pamela kept the details under wraps and simply said, “I can’t tell you.”

She was also quoted as saying, “And I think I will be coming to India quite a lot. I am here now. I am here for another four-five days. We are doing some projects. Then I will go back and come back.”

Before Pamela, Lock Upp Season 2 winner Shreya had also ruled out participating in Bigg Boss 20. Responding to fans who asked if she would be joining the show, she said, “Doston, jo mujhse puch raha hai main Bigg Boss jaungi ki nahi- Main just abhi ek pagalkhane se nikal ke aayi hoon (Friends, for those asking me whether I will be going on Bigg Boss, I have just come out of a madhouse). I am not planning to do any reality show as a contestant right now because it was mentally exhausting and very taxing. So no Bigg Boss for me, but if there’s an opportunity to host, mentor, or become a gang leader, then I’ll definitely be excited. Maza aa jayega agar aisa kuch ho gaya tha (It’ll be fun if something like this happens). But contestant? No bro, too much to take in.”

The teaser for season 20 of the Bigg Boss was released earlier. In the teaser, Salman Khan who hosts thr show makes a grand entry on a majestic horse before delivering a cryptic line: “Joh Karan Arjun mein hua tha, woh hoga ab Bigg Boss mein… Thathastu! (What happened in Karan Arjun will now happen in Bigg Boss).”

The show is set to premiere on September 6 on JioHotstar and Colors.
