HIPLEX 2026 generates over Rs 150 crore in business
Hyderabad: HIPLEX 2026, South and Central India’s largest plastics exhibition, concluded in Hyderabad with business transactions worth over Rs 150 crore, according to organisers Telangana and Andhra Plastics Manufacturers Association (TAAPMA).

The four-day exhibition at HITEX attracted more than 55,000 visitors, including manufacturers, buyers, technology providers, investors and entrepreneurs from across India and overseas. More than 110 plastics processing and ancillary machines were sold during the expo, while around 75 per cent of the ancillary equipment on display was sold. Exhibitors also received orders for multiple machines and generated substantial enquiries expected to translate into additional business of around `500 crore in the coming months. Organisers said the quality of visitors was a key highlight, with a large number of decision-makers, purchase teams and technology seekers attending the event. The expo showcased machinery, raw materials, moulds, automation solutions, recycling technologies, bio-polymers and packaging solutions across the plastics value chain. A dedicated Recycling Pavilion highlighted technologies for converting plastic waste into commercially valuable products.
TAAPMA said the business generated at HIPLEX 2026 could lead to increased investments, technology adoption and capacity expansion, besides contributing to GST revenues and creating opportunities across manufacturing, logistics and ancillary sectors.
