Ghattamaneni Mahesh Babu, the Superstar of Tollywood, celebrates one more year with the same energy as before. From being a child artist, Mahesh Babu has come a long way as a successful and established superstar today. Started his career as a child actor, the actor is known for his remarkable work and gained critical acclaim and popularity among people for his on-screen performances.

Mahesh Babu was born in Madras on August 9th, 1975 to Superstar Krishna and Indira. At the age of four, he began his career with the film Needa. He studied in Loyola College and graduated in commerce. Before his debut as the lead hero in Raja Kumarudu in 1999, the Yuvaraju actor has starred in films while growing up. For his performance in Raja Kumarudu , Mahesh received the Best Male Debut Award.

After that Mahesh acted in films like Murari, Okkadu and Athadu and proved himself as a versatile actor. He became one of the prominent stars of Tollywood with Puri Jagannath’s Pokiri . Mahesh acted in other films like Dookudu , Businessman and Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu .He has been awarded many Nandi Awards and Filmfare Awards for his exceptional performances and also appeared several times on the Forbes India Celebrity 100 list. He has produced some movies under his production house called G Mahesh Babu Entertainment. His philanthropic services also makes him different from other actors in the industry.

Mahesh Babu got married to his Vamsi co-star Namrata Shirodkar in 2005. The couple is blessed with two kids Gowtham and Sithara. Mahesh Babu always likes to keep his life private. He is known for going to family vacations frequently which makes him a perfect husband material.
