Jio launches new Rs 550, Rs 2,000 OTT passes with 15+ streaming apps
New Delhi: Reliance Jio has expanded its OTT Pass portfolio with two new prepaid options priced at Rs 550 and Rs 2,000. New plans are targeting customers who want a longer validity along with more data and access to multiple streaming platforms bundled. They will be sold throughout India from 7th August.

The new plans complement its current Rs 200 OTT Pass. The Rs 550 package will be active for 84 days, and the Rs 2,000 one is active for 365 days, Jio said. This comes with a benefit of Unlimited 5G in both plans, as well, but only if eligible as per Jio conditions.
Jio Rs 550 OTT Pass: Benefits and validity
The Rs 550 OTT Pass comes with 90GB of high-speed data and 84 days of validity. It is available to users with an active three-month or one-year base plan, excluding voice-only plans.
YouTube Premium, JioHotstar, Amazon Prime Lite, SonyLIV, ZEE5, Lionsgate Play, Discovery+, SunNXT, FanCode, Hoichoi and Chaupal will be included in the pass along with Kanccha Lannka, TimesPlay and Tarang Plus. It also offers over 1,000 live TV channels on JioTV.
The plan can also offer 5G service to subscribers who have 5G on their base plan but not yet on their plans, according to TelecomTalk. The benefit will continue for the period of validity or until the base plan expires, whichever is earlier.
Jio Rs 2,000 OTT Pass: 365GB data
The Rs 2,000 OTT Pass offers 365GB of high-speed data with 365 days of validity. It is available exclusively to customers with an active one-year base plan, excluding voice-only packs.
The OTT benefits are identical to the Rs 550 plan and comprise of YouTube Premium, Amazon Prime Lite, JioHotstar and a couple of different streaming services, with 1,000+ live channels made available on JioTV.
Both new plans will be offered on the Jio app, on Jio’s website and through the authorised retail outlets.
