Toxic trailer release: Yash unveils fiery poster, trailer to drop this evening; check details
New Delhi: An explosive new poster has set the tone for Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, with Yash revealing exactly when fans can watch the much-awaited trailer. The trailer will drop at 7:01 pm on Saturday, August 8, ahead of the film’s theatrical release later this month.
Yash shared the action-packed poster on Instagram, showing his character walking towards the camera as flames, burning debris and wires fill the background.
“DETONATING. 7:01 PM | TODAY,” he wrote alongside the poster.
The trailer launch will also feature Danish Sait as host. The makers announced his involvement with a poster calling him “a sensation” and inviting fans to watch him live at the Toxic trailer launch.

Yash leads Geetu Mohandas’ action thriller
Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic has Yash in a dual role as Raya and Ticket. The film features Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth in key roles.
The story, according to details listed on IMDb, is set in Goa and revolves around a powerful drug cartel operating in a world marked by bloodshed, fear and betrayal.
Kiara plays Nadia, Nayanthara portrays Ganga, Huma is Elizabeth, Tara plays Rebecca and Rukmini appears as Melissa.
Toxic release date changed twice
The Kannada action thriller, backed by KVN Productions and Yash’s Monster Mind Creations, has gone through multiple release-date changes.
Toxic was initially scheduled to arrive on March 19, when it was set to clash with Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar: The Revenge. The film was subsequently pushed to June 4 before getting another new release date.
Yash’s film is now scheduled to hit cinemas on August 26, 2026.
