‘Hi’ release postponed; Nayanthara, Kavin starrer to hit screens on Aug 28

The makers of Hi, the highly anticipated romantic entertainer starring Nayanthara and Kavin have announced the film’s new release date. The movie slated to release on 14 th August will now release globally on 28th August. The movie which has been set to release as one of the summer’s most-awaited family entertainers will now have slightly more time for the audience to get ready for a wholesome entertainer.

In this regard, the production house Seven Screen Studios, one of the banner that has backed this film unveiled the update on their social media handles. The makers are confident of providing an entertaining theatre-haunting experience with this movie to the audience once it releases this upcoming month.

Director Vishnu Edavan who has made his directorial debut with this film has got a clean U/A certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification, which allows the film to be screened across the theatres. Before donning the director’s hat, Vishnu had worked as an associate director with filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj in films like Kaithi, Master, and Vikram.

Hi is produced by Zee Studios South, The Rowdy Pictures, and Seven Screen Studios together. The cast also includes stalwarts like K. Bhagyaraj, Prabhu, Radhika, Sathyan, Adithya Kathir, Kureishi, in the leading roles apart from the lead pair.

It may be noted that the film has a strong technical team that includes music composer Jen Martin, cinematographer Rajesh Shukla, editor Philomin Raj, Production designer Shekhar B, Choreographer Brinda, Action designer Dinesh Kasi, among others.
