7,300 bicycles distributed under ‘Vidya Chakram’ initiative

Kalyandurg: MLA Amilineni Surendra Babu spearheaded a massive bicycle distribution drive under the ‘Vidya Chakram’ initiative, gifting bicycles worth 5 crore rupees to 7,300 students across the Kalyandurgam constituency.

Backed by the SRC Trust, the event saw 1,500 students receive cycles in a single day, with an additional 500 degree student allotment announced.

Slamming the previous administration’s neglect of education and infrastructure, the MLA outlined a two-year plan to transform Kalyandurgam into a model municipality and promised the completion of the BTP irrigation project by March 2028.
