43rd Coast Guard Commanders’ Conference | Indian Coast Guard
New Delhi, 17 Sep 26: The 43rd edition of the Indian Coast Guard (ICG) Commanders’ Conference is being convened at Coast Guard Headquarters, New Delhi, from 17 to 19 September 2026. This apex annual gathering serves as a vital forum for ICG Senior Commanders to engage in meaningful deliberations on strategic, operational, and administrative matters, set against the backdrop of evolving geopolitical dynamics and the complexities of maritime security. The Conference plays a crucial role in charting the future course of the ICG.

The Hon’ble Raksha Rajya Mantri, Shri Sanjay Seth, graciously addressed the Commanders’ Conference today and interacted with Director General Paramesh Sivamani, AVSM, PTM, TM, DGICGand other senior Coast Guard Commanders on pivotal issues concerning national and maritime security.
During the Conference, the ICG Commanders will also interact with the Chief of Defence StaffandChief of the Naval Stafffostering inter service collaboration across the full spectrum of maritime security. These discussions will further promote the growth, capability development, and infrastructure expansion of the Indian Coast Guard.
The three day deliberations will provide a distinguished platform for senior ICG leaders to comprehensively review operational preparedness, material and logistical support, HR development, training, and administrative initiatives undertaken over the past year. They will also identify vital milestones essential for safeguarding India’s maritime interests.
The Commanders will assess ongoing ICG projects aimed at strengthening Indigenisation through the ‘Make in India’ initiative, in alignment with the Government of India’s vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat.
As a pivotal forum, the Commanders’ Conference underscores the Indian Coast Guard’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding India’s maritime interests and reaffirms its role as the guardian of the nation’s maritime frontiers.
